Christian Outreach & Restoration Ministry · Colo-i-Suva, Fiji
Restoring Hope. Rebuilding Lives. Transforming Futures.
Every life has value. Every person deserves hope. Everyone deserves a second chance.
Across Fiji, vulnerable children, young people and adults face homelessness, poverty, family breakdown, addiction and social exclusion. At Seek to Save Ministry, we believe no one should be forgotten or left behind.
Founded by Pastor Elia Berabi, Seek to Save is a Christian outreach ministry based in Colo-i-Suva, Fiji, dedicated to reaching people who are vulnerable, marginalised and in need of compassion, support and a renewed sense of purpose.
Our mission is simple: To reach the forgotten, restore dignity and help transform lives through the love of Jesus Christ.
“For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.”Luke 19:10 (KJV)
Our hope
A Place Where Hope Begins
For someone living on the streets, a warm meal can mean survival. A safe place to sleep can mean security. A caring voice can mean the difference between giving up and finding the courage to begin again. Seek to Save Ministry exists to offer more than temporary relief. We seek to provide a pathway towards healing, stability, independence and renewed purpose.

Our commitments
Careful with people
Dignity first
We do not publish identifying photographs or stories of vulnerable people without proper consent.
Care without conditions
Support and safety are never conditional on religious participation.
Our Story
From a Simple Act of Compassion to a Mission of Hope
Seek to Save Ministry began with a simple conviction: people living on the streets deserve more than to be passed by. In 2023, Pastor Elia Berabi and his younger brother encountered children and young people sleeping beneath a bridge near the Suva Fish Market. They began reaching out with food, conversation and compassion.
As they listened, they encountered stories affected by homelessness, broken family relationships, abuse and poverty. Pastor Elia and his family began welcoming vulnerable young people into their home in Colo-i-Suva, offering food, shelter, guidance and belonging. What began as an act of kindness grew into Seek to Save Ministry.
A Family That Opened Its Home
Despite limited resources, Pastor Elia and his family have offered practical support, spiritual guidance and opportunities for young people to rebuild their lives. Agricultural activities, including dalo farming, encourage discipline, teamwork, practical skills and self-reliance.
Growing Beyond the Family Home
The ministry aspires to establish a dedicated care and rehabilitation facility, supported by appropriate professional services, offering safe accommodation, structured programmes and personal development. Our vision is not simply to provide a roof overhead, but to help people discover that their past does not have to define their future.
The founder's story and ministry history on this page are drawn from public reporting and are subject to Pastor Elia's approval.

Farming & Sustainability
Growing food for daily needs
Alongside outreach and care, the ministry grows dalo and other crops to help meet daily needs. Farming is also a way of teaching: young people learn patient, practical skills, and the harvest may in time become a source of income.
Reports in early 2026 described a dalo planting of around 35,000 plants. This is a reported figure and has not been independently verified. With additional tools, seeds, water access and agricultural support, this work could contribute to food security and lasting livelihoods.
To confirm: crop types, land rights, farming photographs and current yields.
